Skills recognition

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that recognises the training and work experience you already have. You can RPL individual courses or entire programs. As each person’s previous education and work experience is different, the RPL process is highly individualised and takes into account your ability to meet nationally recognised standards. During the RPL process you will be asked to supply us with a range of information including, but not limited to: CV or Resume Job description Work samples Written references Academic transcripts For your RPL application to be successful, you must demonstrate that you possess equivalent knowledge and skills to the course or program you wish to RPL. In some instances, we will need to undertake additional evidence collection methods such as having you: Observed in the workplace by an assessor. Answering a series of questions. Completion of a work based project or case study to fill any skill gaps.
