About Us

The Warwick Indoor Recreation & Aquatic Centre has an indoor aquatic hall which is made up of a 25m heated pool, play pool , rapid river & spa.

There is also a separate hydrotherapy pool with disabled access which is used for rehabilitation, gentle exercise & Learn to swim which is available for general public use within certain operating hours.

Also within the centre, there is a state of the art, air conditioned Gym, two competition sized indoor courts & an Indoor Rock climbing area.

WIRAC has over thirty Group fitness classes available which include Aqua Aerobic classes, Spin , Pump Pilates, Senior Fit, Heart moves, A.B.T, Circuit & Zumba classes.

WIRAC offers a face-to-face program at no additional cost to gym members that allows members to have five gym consultations over a period of 4 to 5 weeks with a qualified Instructor.

Personal training is also available at WIRAC to provide specialised training programs & motivation for Individuals. These sessions can either be purchased as one-off sessions or bought in bulk with WIRAC’s five or ten pack offers.

Various sporting organisations use the Courts to run their competitions, such as netball, basketball, badminton, futsul & karate.

There is a kids rock climbing club & an adult (vertigo) rock climbing group which are held every Wednesday afternoon. The rock wall can also be booked for groups & individuals who require an instructor.

As a disability hub, WIRAC is committed to extending opportunities for people with a disability in the Southern Downs Region by providing access to participate in sporting activities within the centre & outside sporting organisations.

WIRAC supports the sports ability games which is run on the Court Area.

Also, group fitness classes, personal training ,water familiarisation & learn to swim classes are available for people with disabilities.

Learn to swim, water familiarisation classes, school swimming programs, squad training & water polo is conducted in the aquatic hall by qualified Instructors.

Holiday activity programs are run during most school holidays. During the summer & school holidays, a large inflatable is put up in the 25m pool for fun & recreation.

Birthday parties are another service WIRAC provides which can be either a dry land, rock wall or a pool party. Birthday parties can be booked for weekends only & are a great way for parents to have a stress free day on their child’s birthday.
